General Convention 79:

Witness at T. Don Hutto Detention Center

The Deputation from the Diocese of Massachusetts joined over 1000 other Episcopalians from around the country and beyond in Taylor, Texas to pray and sing to the 500 asylum seeking women in detention there so that  they would know they were not alone or forgotten. 

Bowditch Scholars Send Notes to Detained Children

Answering the Mayor's call for notes and letters to the children detained in Texas, our Bowditch scholars wrote words of encouragement on the backs of notecards prepared by the Rector from one neighbor to another. The Mayor stopped by to collect the cards and to thank them.
